Seven-goal Kerry storm past Meath

CHRISTY RING CUP GROUP 2C: KERRY 7-10 MEATH 4-13

Kerry's hurlers slammed home seven goals as they overcame 14-man Meath at Tralee this afternoon.

A Michael Conway goal gave Kerry the lead at the end of a close opening quarter.

Michael Cole netted to cut the gap to a point, however Billy Brick and Liam Doyle goals gave Kerry a 3-05 to 1-05 23rd-minute lead.

Meath, who had Cole dismissed, battled on but Kerry's attack fired strongly in the second half and saw them home.
