Donaghy awaits scan results on injured knee

Kerry forward Kieran Donaghy was this afternoon still waiting to discover the full extent of the knee injury he sustained in a club match yesterday.

Donaghy underwent a scan today, and the indications are that the injury may not be as bad as initially feared.

A clearer picture will emerge tomorrow.

Kerry take on Clare in the Munster Championship semi-final a fortnight from Sunday.
