Meath players to learn outcome of Parnell Park appeals
The five Meath players suspended following the recent NFL Division 2 league clash with Dublin at Parnell Park are due to learn the outcome of their appeals today.
Brendan Murphy, Seamus Kenny, Niall McKeigue, Shane McAnarney and Nigel Crawford all appeared before the GAA's Central Appeals Committee to challenge their eight-week bans.
They were handed the punishments following the violence that broke out during the hotly contested Dublin game.
If their CAC challenge fails, they can still mount a further appeal to the Disputes Resolution Authority.
