Win sends Fermanagh top of Division Three

Fermanagh are top of NFL Division Three thanks to a hard-earned four-point win over Limerick at Lisnaskea today.

Initially called off due to heavy fog a few weeks ago, this was a keenly contested affair.

The hosts dominated the opening half and led by 0-08 to 0-02 at the interval.

Two points each from Paul Ward and Eamon Maguire ensured an eight-point lead in the third quarter, and although Ciaran Callaghan goalled for Limerick late on, the Ernesiders held out for victory.
