Flaherty helps Clare to share of spoils against Tipp

ALLIANZ NHL DIVISION 1B: Clare 0-17 Tipperary 1-14

Mark Flaherty continued his high-scoring exploits in NHL Division 1B as he shot ten points in Clare's draw with Tipperary at Cusack Park.

The Killanena clubman was deadly accurate from frees as Clare recovered from leaking a 24th-minute goal to Tipp full-forward Tommy Fitzgerald.

Tipp hit ten wides but still led 1-6 to 0-8 at half-time, with Flaherty scoring four times for the Banner men.

However, the visitors were reeled in when Clare grabbed the game's final four points through Flaherty (3) and Fergal Lynch.
