Kilkenny outshine Dublin at Nowlan Park
Kilkenny 1-21 Dublin 2-10, Nowlan Park
Kilkenny looked sharp on their first day out in the 2008 National League as they saw off Dublin at Nowlan Park.
With free-taker Eddie Brennan contributing 0-8, the All-Ireland champions did enough to warrant this win.
The Cats led 1-12 to 0-7 at half-time with Stuart Mullen scoring five of Dublin's points.
The hosts' goal came from Richie Hogan during a profitable eight-minute period that saw them tally up 1-6.
Goals from Kevin Flynn and Peadar Carton bookended the second half for the Dubs, but Kilkenny's class still told.
