Cork weekend games postponed
The Central Competitions Control Committee of the GAA have decided to respond favourably to a request from the Cork Co Board to postponed the Allianz National Hurling and Football league ties involving the Rebel County this weekend.
At a meeting this morning in Croke Park the CCCC ruled that the National Football League Division 2 tie between Cork and Dublin, which had been fixed for tomorrow night at Páirc Uí Rinn, will not take place - nor will Cork's National Hurling League Division 1 game against Waterford, which had been fixed for Sunday afternoon at Páirc Úi Chaoimh.
