Goal-happy Offaly too much for London

NFL Division Four favourites Offaly comfortably overcame London in their opening league game at Tullamore this afternoon.

A 31st-minute goal from Paul O'Donoghue kept London in the contest - the Exiles were 1-9 to 1-3 in arrears at half-time.

John Reynolds had teed up Pascal Kellaghan for Offaly's first goal, four minutes earlier.

In heavy underfoot conditions, Reynolds turned goal scorer in the 48th-minute and he also tagged on two late goals, with the influential Niall McNamee finding the visitors' net twelve minutes from time.
