The Connacht Council have confirmed to the Leitrim GAA Board that Mayo referee Declan Corcoran has admitted to making a mistake in sending off midfielder Michael Duignan last Sunday.

The Connacht Council have confirmed to the Leitrim GAA Board that Mayo referee Declan Corcoran has admitted to making a mistake in sending off midfielder Michael Duignan last Sunday.

Duignan was controversially dismissed during Leitrim's narrow Connacht FBD League defeat to Galway at Carrick-on-Shannon.
