Cup decision expected from Cork officials today
The Cork GAA Co Board is expected to make a decision today on whether it can fulfil tomorrow night's Waterford Crystal Cup fixture.
A decision was expected last night, but the board is understood to have been given an extension by the Munster Council.
The Cork senior hurlers are due to play LIT in the pre-season tournament tomorrow night, but the game is unlikely to go ahead due to the strike action being taken by the players.
Cork's hurlers and footballers are both refusing to play due to a row over who gets to appoint the team selectors.
