No word from meeting between Cork Co Board and players

There's been no official comment following last night's meeting between Cork GAA Co Board officials and player representatives.

The county's hurlers and footballers have effectively been on strike since earlier this month in protest over the way selectors are appointed to inter-county teams.

They have demanded that Cork managers should be able to choose their own selectors.

More talks are expected to be held shortly.
