GPA ballot for strike

On the day that GAA top brass met the sports minister regarding grants for intercounty stars, the players body issued its members with a ballot for strike action.

The move is due to what the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) sees as the ongoing failure of the Government and Croke Park chiefs to deliver on them.
