New structures will hurt Galway hurling: Canning

A renowned Galway underage hurler has spoken out against the replacing of the Minor and U-21 GAA Championships.

He's regarded as one of the brightest future hurling prospects and typical of the type of player that the GAA want to protect from overtraining but Joe Canning's doubtful the player burnout proposals announced this week will do any real good.
