Dublin unchanged for All-Ireland semi
Dublin manager Paul Caffrey has predictably named an unchanged team for Sunday's mouth-watering All-Ireland SFC semi-final against Kerry (Croke Park, throw-in 3.30pm).
With no fresh injury worries, Caffrey has stuck with the fifteen players that started the recent quarter-final win over Derry, meaning this weekend will see the Dubs line out with the same side for the third successive game.
There is one positional alteration with Jason Sherlock and Alan Brogan swapping positions in the attack.
Defender Ger Brennan has not been considered for inclusion on the substitutes bench due to a groin injury.
Sunday's game is the 24th championship clash between Dublin and Kerry.
The Kingdom have won 15 of the counties' previous SFC meetings to Dublin's six victories while there have been two draws.
Dublin's last championship win over Kerry was back in 1977 when Bernard Brogan, father of current players Alan and Bernard, got a crucial late goal, but since then Kerry have won six and drawn one of the seven games between the two great rivals.
The last time the counties met in the championship was in August 2004 at the quarter-final stage when the Kingdom won 1-15 to 1-8.
Dublin's line-up for Sunday contains ten players who started on that occasion - David Henry, Ross McConnell, Colin Moran, Bernard Brogan and Mark Vaughan are the players who did not start on that day.
Dublin have scored 5-71 in their five championship games this summer with Kilmacud Crokes clubman Vaughan their top scorer with 1-23 (0-13f, 0-5 '45', 0-1 sl).
DUBLIN (SFC v Kerry) - S Cluxton; D Henry, R McConnell, P Griffin; P Casey, B Cullen, B Cahill; C Whelan, S Ryan; C Moran (capt), A Brogan, B Brogan; J Sherlock, C Keaney, M Vaughan.
