Brennan refutes Cork players' comments

GAA President Nickey Brennan has lashed out at some of the comments made by Cork hurlers Dsnal Sg Cusack, Sean Sg S hAilpmn and Diarmuid O'Sullivan in the statement they issued to the Irish Examiner last week.

In the statement, amongst other things, the players commented on a supposed "anti-Cork bias" in how the disciplinary process - which saw them fail with two appeals against the four-week bans they received for incidents before the Rebels' Munster SHC tie with Clare - was dealt with.
