Considine remains in charge in Clare

Tony Considine has survived as Clare hurling manager after a motion of no confidence was discussed behind closed doors by the Clare County Board.

Considine was left fighting for his job due to his row with goalkeeper Davy Fitzgerald.

Fitzgerald has been dropped from the squad after clashing with Considine over training methods.
