Meath hammer Waterford to top Division 2B

Brian Farrell grabbed a hat-trick of goals against Waterford in Navan as Meath moved into a two-point lead at the top of Division 2B.

Farrell found the net twice in the opening half. Charles McCarthy and Graham Geraghty combined to play in the Nobber clubman for the Royals' second goal - they led 2-6 to 0-3 at half-time.

The Deise's talisman Gary Hurney goaled on the rebound, early in the second half, but late green flags from Cian Ward and Farrell eased Colm Coyle's men to their fifth league win.
