Waterford unchanged for re-fixed visit of Cork
Waterford hurling manager Justin McCarthy has announced an unchanged side for tomorrow afternoon's re-fixed NHL Division 1A clash with Cork at Walsh Park, throw-in 2.30pm.
Last Sunday's meeting between the Munster giants in Dungarvan was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
McCarthy's selection shows just one change from the team that started the side's comprehensive opening round win over Wexford.
With 2003 All Star forward John Mullane still nursing a broken finger, Shane Walsh will start at right corner forward.
Waterford have won two of the sides' three most recent meetings in the NHL - they beat the Rebels by a point in 2004 and had four to spare when they clashed twelve months ago.
Adding an extra dimension to tomorrow's tie, current Deise boss McCarthy was formerly coach to the Cork team, while new Cork manager Gerald McCarthy was previously in charge of Waterford.
WATERFORD (NFL v Cork) - C Hennessy; D Prendergast, T Feeney, A Kearney; D Coffey, K McGrath, J Kennedy; M Walsh, E Kelly; D Shanahan, K Moran, S Molumphy; S Walsh, S Prendergast, E McGrath.
