The 2007 AIB All-Ireland club championships spring to life next Sunday when Kerry and Munster football champions, Dr Crokes travel to Ruislip to take on London champions, St Brendan’s in the quarter-final.

The prize for the winners will be a semi-final place against Moorefield (Kildare) on February 18.

St Brendan’s are seeking to reach the semi-final for the first time while Dr Crokes, inspired by Kerry stars, Colm Cooper and Eoin Brosnan and managed by new Kingdom manager, Pat O’Shea are bidding to reach the semi-final for the first time since 1992 when they beat Corofin (Galway) by 3-4 to 1-5 prior to beating Thomas Davis (Dublin) in the final.

This season, Dr Crokes, who lost the Kerry final to South Kerry, beat defending Munster champions, Nemo Rangers (Cork) and The Nire (Waterford) in the Munster championship to set up a quarter-final clash with St Brendan’s.

The arrangements for the remaining games in the 2007 AIB All-Ireland senior club championships are as follows:

Next Sunday: Football quarter-final: St.Brendan’s (London) v Dr.Crokes (Kerry), Ruislip, 1.30

Sunday, February 11: Hurling semi-finals: Loughrea (Galway) v Cushendall (Antrim), Mullingar; Ballyhale Shamrocks (Kilkenny) v Toomevara (Tipperary), Portlaoise.

Sunday, February 18: Football semi-finals: Crossmaglen Rangers (Armagh) v St.Brigid’s (Roscommon), Mullingar.

Dr.Crokes v Moorefield (Kildare), Limerick; St Brendan’s v Moorefield, Mullingar.

St Patrick’s Day: Football and Hurling finals, Croke Park.
