GAA and managers agree new sideline arrangements

The number of officials allowed on the sideline for inter-county GAA matches will be limited to between six and eight people.

Managers will be confined to patrolling the sideline between the two 45 metre lines, and two water carriers will be allowed per team on the sideline.

But touchline reporters and half-time interviewing have been banned.

The arrangement comes in for the Allianz Leagues, which kick off next month.
