Ó Sé confirmed as new Clare football boss

Kerry legend Páidí Ó Sé has been confirmed as Clare's new senior football manager.

The Ventry native takes over with immediate effect as a replacement for Donie Buckley.

Ó Sé won eight All-Ireland titles with Kerry as a player and also led them to victory in 1997 and 2000 as a manager.

He also led Westmeath to their first Leinster title in 2004.
