Tyrrell, Larkin get Leinster call up
Leinster have slotted Kilkenny's Jackie Tyrrell and Eoin Larkin into their starting line-up for Saturday's M Donnelly Interprovincial Hurling final against Connacht (Pearse Stadium, throw-in 4.45pm).
Rory McCarthy, who is attending a wedding this weekend, and Gary Hanniffy miss out with Tyrrell and Larkin being promoted in the only two changes to the side that accounted for Ulster 2-19 to 0-12 in the semi-final.
Leinster are managed by John Conran and are bidding to win the province's 25th Interprovincial title - they were beaten by Munster in last year's decider.
If Saturday's final is a draw after 70 minutes, extra-time will be played.
The Interpro fixture is the curtain raiser of a double bill of Gaelic action at Pearse Stadium in Salthill - the first Test of the 2006 International Rules series between Ireland and Australia will throw in at the venue at 7.15pm.
