Derry ease to victory

Armagh 0-10 Derry 3-10

Early goals from Ruairi Convery and Sean McBride, added to by Kevin Hinphey in the second half, helped Derry to victory over Armagh in today's Nicky Rackard Cup semi-final.

The Oak Leafers, who led 2-08 to 0-05 at the break, got the better of their Crossmaglen hosts. Armagh were hindered by a first half injury to top scorer Declan Coulter – the Armagh Harps man had hit 6-25 in his three previous games.

Convery led the Derry scoring with 1-04, while McBride fired over 1-03. Gerard Enright grabbed 0-03 for Armagh.
