The Ulster SFC final could be held at Croke Park next month but only if reigning champions Armagh come through their semi-final replay against Fermanagh on Sunday.

The northern province's showpiece match has been played at Croke Park for the past two seasons with the 2004 final between Armagh and Donegal attracting a record crowd of 67,000.

The Ulster Council are to wait until after this weekend's replay to make a decision on whether to go south again or to hold the Anglo Celt Cup decider at the 36,000-capacity St. Tiernach's Park in Clones.

Should Fermanagh dump the Orchard men out, it is expected that the final, which is scheduled for Sunday, July 9, will return to its traditional home in Clones.

However, a visit to Croke Park would prove a bumper day out for Donegal supporters as both their senior and minor teams have qualified for their respective Ulster finals.
