Muscle injury could cut short Ryall's career

A serious muscle injury could be about to bring the inter-county career of Kilkenny defender James Ryall to a premature end.

It has emerged that Graigue-Ballycallan clubman is suffering from a condition known as "compartment syndrome", which prevents the body's muscles from expanding during a high-pressure, sustained activity.
