Cork, Tipp name teams for Camogie final
Both Cork and Tipperary have named their sides for Sunday's National Camogie League Division 1A final in Semple Stadium (throw-in 4.00pm).
All-Ireland champions Cork, who were beaten by Galway in last year's League decider, have injury worries over wing back Rena Buckley and midfielder Gemma O'Connor.
Buckley, an All-Star nominee last season, sustained a knock in last weekend's League title win for the Cork lady footballers, while O'Connor, last season's Vodafone Camogie Player of the Year, is suffering from shin splints. Cork manager John Cronin has left vacancies for both should they recover.
Definitely out for the Rebelettes, who last won the League in 2003, is talented defender Regina Curtin. Cronin's charges beat Wexford by 2-09 to 0-05 in last month's semi-finals.
Tipperary, who are at full-strength, got the better of Kilkenny - winning 3-17 to 3-07 - to ensure their first final appearance since 2004. Wing forward Clare Grogan finished with a personal tally of 0-10 (3f) in the semi.
