Crona Regan elected secretary of Donegal county board
Crona Regan has been elected secretary of the Donegal county board, defeating incumbent assistant secretary Edward Molloy by 29 votes to 26.
The Naomh Conall official was first elected to the position of Oifigeach na Gaeilge at convention in December.
Her predecessor Seamus O'Donnell resigned after just over three months as county secretary in early March, citing "personal reasons".
The long-awaited Allianz National Football League Division 2A clash between Donegal and Longford is finally set to go ahead this evening at Ballyshannon, with throw in at 6.15.
