Westmeath recall O'Donoghue

Donal O'Donoghue is back in the Westmeath side, after a spell out through injury, for Sunday's NFL Division 2B clash with Antrim (Cusack Park, throw-in 2.30pm).

The 2004 All-star nominee came off the bench for the closing 16 minutes of last weekend's 0-15 to 1-09 win over Wicklow and came through unscathed.

O'Donoghue starts at full-back for the visit of the Saffrons with Michael Ennis moving to centre back, and Derek Heavin to left half-back with Daniel McDermott losing out.

In attack, James Nugent makes way with manager Tomas O'Flatharta making a number of positional switches. Gary Dolan, brother of corner forward Dessie Dolan - who notched 0-11 against Wicklow, is drafted in at centre forward, Denis Glennon switches in to full-forward, PJ Ward goes to the right corner and Alan Mangan shifts back to right half-forward.

Westmeath (NFL v Antrim) - Gary Connuaughton; James Davitt, Donal O’Donoghue, John Keane; Graham Dillon, Michael Ennis, Derek Heavin; David Duffy, David O’Shaughnessy; Alan Mangan, Gary Dolan, Paul Bannon; PJ Ward, Denis Glennon, Dessie Dolan.
