Deise call up for O'Sullivan
Ballygunner forward Shane O'Sullivan has forced his way into the Waterford side for Sunday's NHL Division 1A test against All-Ireland champions Cork (Pairc Ui Rinn, throw-in 2.30pm).
O'Sullivan has impressed in UCC's run through to the Fitzgibbon Cup semi-finals. He lined out alongside Cork senior Tom Kenny in the UCC midfield when they dumped champions Limerick IT out of the Fitzgibbon race on Wednesday.
O'Sullivan comes into the Waterford line-up at left corner forward, replacing his Ballygunner clubmate Gearoid O'Connor.
Cork and Waterford clashed twice in the 2005 championship - the Rebels emerged as winners on both occasions. May's Munster meeting saw John Allen's side claim a 2-17 to 2-15 win, while the Deise were also defeated 1-13 to 1-18 in July's All-Ireland SHC quarter-final tussle.
WATERFORD (NHL v Cork) - C Hennessy; D Coffey, T Feeney, E Murphy; B Phelan, J Murray, K Moran; E Kelly, M Walsh; J Mullane, S Prendergast, P Flynn (capt); C Carey, J Kennedy, S O'Sullivan.
