Bradley brothers fire Derry to victory

Derry 1-11 Galway 0-07

Brothers Eoin and Paddy Bradley hit a goal and seven points between them as Derry beat a depleted Galway side at Celtic Park.

The Tribesmen travelled north minus suspended skipper Padraic Joyce and 14 other players due to various injuries and suspensions.

Enda Muldoon played in Eoin Bradley for Derry’s goal, right on the half hour, to help establish a 1-07 to 0-04 half-time buffer for the home side.

Derry boss Paddy Crozier looked unimpressed as his side kicked eight wides in the opening 15 minutes of the second half, but Galway were too far behind and overs from goal scorer Bradley (52, 56 minutes) and an injury-time point from Ciaran Mullan put the result beyond doubt.
