Fitzhenry back for Wexford
Wexford manager Seamus Murphy has included goalkeeper Damien Fitzhenry in his side for tomorrow's Walsh Cup quarter-final clash with Dublin (Parnell Park, 2pm).
Fitzhenry only arrived back on Irish soil on Thursday after starring on the All-Stars trip to Singapore. The Duffry Rovers clubman collected the man-of-the-match award for his brilliant performance in last weekend's exhibition match between the 2004 and 2005 All-Star selections.
Both Darragh Ryan and David 'Doc' O'Connor, the two other Wexford players who travelled with the All-Stars to the Far East, have been named on the bench, alongside Mitch Jordan and Michael Jacob.
Interestingly, corner back Andrew Kavanagh, centre back Ciaran Kenny and wing forward Stephen Doyle - three members of Wexford's Intermediate All-Ireland winning side of 2005 - are set for their senior debuts.
Tomorrow's visit to the capital is Wexford's first competitive outing since their 0-12 to 1-20 All-Ireland quarter-final humbling by Clare last July.
WEXFORD (SH v Dublin): D Fitzhenry; M Travers, K Rossiter, A Kavanagh; D Ruth, C Kenny, D Lyng; T Mahon, D Stamp; S Doyle, E Quigley, B Lambert; D Mythen, MJ Furlong, R Jacob.
