McEneaney freshens up Monaghan panel
Manager Seamus McEneaney has freshened up his Monaghan panel, adding ten players for the forthcoming Dr McKenna Cup competition.
Latton defender Edmund Lennon and Castleblayney Faughs forward Tavey have both earned recalls, while eight players have been bumped up from the Under-21 squad.
The additions include Ciaran Hughes, the son of Eugene "Nudie" Hughes, the legendary Farney forward who won All-Star awards in 1979, 1985 and 1988, and talented Latton goalkeeper Sean Farmer.
Monaghan begin their Dr McKenna Cup campaign with a home tie against Derry on Sunday, January 8.
