Antrim confirm McKernan appointment

Jim McKernan was officially confirmed as the new Antrim senior hurling manager at last night's meeting of the Saffrons' county committee.

McKernan, whose name was selected by Antrim's Management Committee last week, was ratified as the successor to Tipperary native Dinny Cahill, whose four-year reign was ended last July as he quit the role in controversial circumstances.
