The Laois County Board has handed down several stiff suspensions following the brawl that marred the recent county hurling final replay.

Castletown goalkeeper Ger Cuddy has been banned for 96 weeks, while his brother Brendan is suspended for 72 weeks.

Camross selector Tommy Delaney was also banned for 48 weeks, while his 15-year-old son Dean, who spent two days in hospital with a head injury after the game, wasn't present at the hearing.
