A troubling knee injury has forced Antrim defender Gearóid Adams to quit inter-county football.

The experienced half-back will continue to play for his club St John's but his 12-year run with the Saffrons is at an end. Adams informed Antrim boss Mickey Culbert this week that he did not wish to be considered for the current panel.
