Five Dubs in Leinster side

The Leinster side for Saturday night's M Donnelly Interprovincial semi-final clash with Connacht is backboned by five Dublin players.

Manager Val Andrews, a Dublin native, has selected Barry Cahill at centre-back, Peader Andrew at left half-back, Ciaran Whelan in an imposing midfield partnership with Laois' Noel Garvan, and Colin Moran and Jason Sherlock in attack.

Alan Brogan is a notable absentee due to an ankle operation. The Dublin sharpshooter scored a goal and three points in last year's 1-8 to 1-13 final defeat by Ulster in Paris.

Only Meath's Niall McKeigue, Karl Slattery of Offaly, Garvan and Kildare attacker John Doyle have survive from the Leinster final side of twelve months ago.

Both Moran (ankle) and Doyle (calf) have recovered from knocks to start.

Throw-in at Parnell Park on Saturday is 7.35pm.
