Mickey Ned O'Sullivan has been appointed as the new Limerick senior football manager.

A full meeting of the Limerick county board in Claghaun last night saw the 57-year-old confirmed as successor to his fellow Kerryman Liam Kearns, who stepped down in July, in the role.
