Coca-cola call for supporters' e-wishes
Supporters of Ireland's International Rules team are being urged to send Pete McGrath's side their messages of support on a new website.
Ireland, in their bid to retain the Cormac McAnallen Cup, take on Australia in two Tests Down Under next month and Coca-Cola Bottlers Ireland, the team's official sponsors, have set up a special e-Wishes website - www.ccbi.ie/internationalrules - for fans, from home and abroad, to pass on their messages of support.
Well wishers can upload their messages with just the click of a button with all messages being presented to the Ireland team daily while they are in Australia.
Already, the likes of Mr. John O'Donoghue T.D., the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism, Wexford goalkeeper Damien Fitzhenry, former Kerry footballer and Ireland rugby captain Mick Galwey, Ireland rugby coach Eddie O'Sullivan and Leinster coach Michael Cheika have left messages for the team.
By logging on to the website, supporters will also have the opportunity to win an official International Rules supporters' pack when they post their greeting.
