Kilkenny's Under 21 hurlers will attempt to win their third All-Ireland title in a row when they face Galway in Sunday's Erin Under 21 Hurling Championship final at the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick (throw in 2pm).

Galway saw off Munster Champions Cork in the All-Ireland semi-final at the Gaelic Grounds.

Kilkenny booked their place with an emphatic victory over Ulster Champions Antrim in Navan.

Kilkenny will be in search of their 10th All-Ireland U21 title while Galway have won the championship seven times and will hope to add U21 success to their All-Ireland Minor hurling glory last Sunday in Croke Park.

The winning captain of the Erin Under 21 Hurling Championship final will lift the Cross of Cashel trophy. This replica of the old Celtic Cross was presented to the GAA by Doctor Morris, a former Archbishop of Cashel and patron of the GAA.
