Tribesmen lead magnificent semi-final
Galway 2-11 Kilkenny 3-5
Galway lead Kilkenny in a pulsating All-Ireland Hurling Championship semi-final at Croke Park today.
Kilkenny had taken control in the first 15 minutes - Eddie Brennan scoring a goal for Kilkenny's opening score - before Galway surged into the lead, inspired by Ger Farragher, who fired two goals for the Tribesmen.
But Kilkenny showed their class to get back into the match with late goals from Henry Shefflin and John Hoyne to trail by just three points at half-time.
