Armagh footballers Paul McGrane and Ciaran McKeever have had their four-week suspensions cleared from the Ulster final replay.

That means both will be available for selection for next Saturday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Laois at Croke Park.

Both McGrane and McKeever had lodged appeals to the GAA's Disputes Resolution Authority at the Central Council meeting today.

In view of the technical and legal points of the recent Ryan McMenamin case - the Tyrone defender has his ban quashed on Wednesday - and on advice of the GAA's legal advisors, it was decided unanimously in the circumstances to reinstate both Armagh players forthwith and not to pursue these cases.

McGrane was charged by the Central Disciplinary Committee with striking an opponent in the replayed game. although he was not sent off. McKeever earned a second yellow card for his involvement in a second half incident with Tyrone's Peter Canavan.
