Tyrone's star defender Ryan McMenamin has been cleared to play in Saturday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Dublin.

The Dromore clubman had his final appeal upheld, following two efforts last Friday and Saturday, against a four-week ban by the GAA's Disputes Resolution Authority.

McMenamin was initially suspended for an apparent knee drop on Armagh's John McEntee in last month's Ulster final replay.

Armagh duo Paul McGrane and Ciaran McKeever, who were also found guilty of "dangerous play" in that game, have had their appeal hearings against four-week suspensions put back to next week.

Armagh face Laois in an August 20 quarter-final.
