Trio take charge of Roscommon
In the wake of Val Daly's surprising resignation as Roscommon manager, the Connacht men will have a new management team in charge for tomorrow's Tommy Murphy Cup quarter-final against London.
A temporary mangement trio of former county manager Donie Shine, Seamus Maher, secretary of the Roscommon fixtures committee and a selector with last season's Under-21 team, and acting county chairman Michael McGuire have been put in place for the Dr Hyde Park clash with the Exiles.
Although expected to progress, the Rossies are due to be without senior players Francie Grehan, Mike Ryan, Enda Kenny, Morgan Beirne, Nigel Dineen and Gary Cox for a variety of reasons, tomorrow.
The home side, who bowed out of the All-Ireland qualifiers to Louth last month, will give youth its chance and field a number of Under-21s and minors in their line-up.
