Switch for Mayo Mortimer brothers

Trevor Mortimer has returned to the Mayo line-up, replacing his younger brother Conor in the westerners' attack for Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Kerry.

The elder Mortimer missed last weekend's lacklustre qualifier defeat of Cavan due to a four-week suspension, handed down for an incident in the Connacht final, but the ban expires at midnight on Saturday.

Conor Mortimer is Mayo's top scorer with 1-8 so far in the championship, but was crucially kept scoreless against Cavan and replaced by Marty McNicholas in the second half.

His older brother Trevor has been a consistent performer for club Shrule/Glencorrib this summer, and offers a much-needed physical presence up front.

He is joined in the full-forward line by team captain Ciaran McDonald and Austin O'Malley, the "Louisburgh One" who impressed last weekend, hitting two points.

McDonald's inclusion at full-forward sees Billy Joe Padden shuttle back to left half-forward, with Alan Dillon moving to the centre.

Corner backs Keith Higgins and Trevor Howley have both made the bench after recovering from injury.
