Draw made for Tommy Murphy Cup
The draw for the opening round of the 2005 Tommy Murphy Cup was made last night in Dublin.
Eight teams will see first round action in the second-tier tournament, with Fermanagh's clash with Carlow the headline act.
A youthful Wicklow side will fancy their chances at overcoming Longford, while Leitrim have been paired with Tipperary.
The other first round tie will see Kilkenny's footballers taking part in their first senior competitive game since their departure from the league more than a decade ago, against fellow outsiders London.
The first round games have been provisionally set for next Saturday, July 16, with the winners going into the second round draw together with Roscommon, Waterford, Antrim and the losers of today's All-Ireland qualifier between Monaghan and Wexford, who all received early byes.
