Offaly v Waterford qualifier for double-header
The GAA's Games Administration have settled upon the times and venues for Saturday's three Guinness All-Ireland SHC qualifier series first round matches.
Limerick hurlers' opening Group A meeting with Antrim has been postponed, as expected, due to the involvement of a number of dual players in the Shannonsiders' Munster SFC semi-final showdown with Kerry on Sunday.
Next weekend will undoubtedly be the busiest one of on-the-field action in the GAA's recent history with 24 matches due to be played - including ties in the Christy Ring (2) and Nicky Rackard (6) Cups, six provincial championship clashes and ten qualifiers to be fought out in both hurling and football.
The mouth-watering Offaly v Waterford hurling qualifier (7.15pm throw-in) will be part of a double-header at Dr Cullen Park, with host county Carlow lining out against Offaly in the preceding football qualifier (throw-in 5.30pm).
