12-week ban for Monaghan's Woods

Monaghan attacker Rory Woods has received a 12-week ban following his straight red dismissal during the National Football League Division Two semi-final against Derry last month.

Woods was sent to the line for his involvement in an off-the-ball incident and has been ruled out of action until July 17, the date of the Ulster football final.

Woods will miss his county's Ulster championship opener against Derry on June 5 at Clones.
