Hoyne and Forde win Player of Month awards

Kilkenny hurler John Hoyne and Wexford footballer Matty Forde have been named as the GAA All-Star Players of the Month for February.

Hoynes was presented with the award in recognition of his good run of form playing full-forward for Kilkenny in this year's National Hurling League.

Forde, meanwhile, has been impressive in the opening games of the National Football League, scoring 1-6 against Armagh and 0-7 against Kildare during the month of February.
