Double delight for Tipperary hurlers

Defender Martin Maher returns for Tipperary for a challenge next Sunday against All-Ireland finalists Kilkenny at Semple Stadium.

Maher has returned from Australia after travelling Down Under in the wake of Tipp's All-Ireland qualifier defeat to Cork last year.

There is further good news for boss Ken Hogan with the availability of former All Star goalkeeper Brendan Cummins, who has recovered from an ankle injury picked up during last weekend's National League victory over Limerick.

Sunday's game has been organised by Thurles CBS and proceeds will go to a project in Zambia.

TIPPERARY (SH v Kilkenny): B Cummins; M Maher, P Curran, P Ormonde; T King, D Kennedy, E Hanley; P Kelly, E Brislane; S Butler, T Slevin, B Dunne; P O'Brien, M Webster, P Shortt.
