Injury blow for Limerick as Hickey out

Limerick boss Liam Kearns has been dealt a further injury blow ahead of next weekend's opening round of the National Football League.

The Kerry native revealed that only 20 players of his panel of 30 were available for yesterday's McGrath Cup final victory over Cork Institute of Technology.

Eoin Hickey is now another player who is unavailable after breaking his collarbone on Saturday.

Limerick face Leinster finalists Laois next Sunday in their league opener.
